Summary: We only access files you explicitly upload to your designated iMeett folders in Google Drive. We use your meeting recordings solely to provide transcription and summarization services. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Email address: Used for account identification, login, and service communications
- Password: Stored securely using industry-standard encryption (bcrypt hashing)
1.2 Google Account Data
When you connect your Google account, we access:
- Email address: To identify your Google account (via OpenID Connect)
- Google Drive files: Only files within the specific folders created by iMeett for your account ("iMeett - [your name] - Recordings" and "iMeett - [your name] - Summaries"). We use the
drive.file scope, which limits our access exclusively to files our application creates or that you explicitly open with our app.
Important: We cannot access any other files in your Google Drive. Our access is strictly limited to the folders our application creates for you.
1.3 Meeting Content
When you upload meeting recordings or text files to your imeett input folder, we process:
- Audio files: Meeting recordings in formats such as M4A, MP3, WAV, MP4, MPEG, MPGA, and WebM
- Text files: Meeting notes or transcripts you upload for summarization
1.4 Telegram Information (Optional)
If you choose to receive notifications via Telegram:
- Telegram Chat ID: Used solely to send you notifications about processed meetings
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
2.1 Core Service Functionality
- Transcription: Audio files are processed using OpenAI Whisper API or AssemblyAI to convert speech to text
- Summarization: Transcripts are processed using Anthropic's Claude AI to generate meeting summaries, action items, and follow-up dates
- File Storage: Summaries are saved back to your Google Drive output folder
- Notifications: Summary notifications are sent to your Telegram (if configured)
2.2 Service Operations
- Account authentication and security
- Processing file tracking to prevent duplicate processing
- Usage tracking for subscription management
- Technical support and troubleshooting

- Meeting files: Remain in your Google Drive; we do not permanently store copies
- Processing records: We maintain records of processed file IDs to prevent duplicate processing
4.2 Security Measures
- All data transmitted using TLS/HTTPS encryption
- OAuth tokens encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption
- Passwords hashed using bcrypt with salt
- Audio files are temporarily stored only during processing and immediately deleted after
- Regular security reviews and updates
5. Data Retention and Deletion
5.1 Retention Periods
- Account data: Retained while your account is active
- Processing records: Retained to prevent duplicate processing
- Audio files: Deleted immediately after transcription is complete
- Transcripts: Stored only in your Google Drive, not on our servers
5.2 Your Deletion Rights
You can request deletion of your data at any time by:
Upon account deletion:
- Your account information will be permanently deleted
- OAuth tokens will be revoked and deleted
- Processing history will be deleted
- Files in your Google Drive remain yours and are not affected
6. Google API Services User Data Policy

- We only request access to data necessary for providing our transcription and summarization services
- We do not use Google user data for advertising purposes
- We do not sell Google user data to third parties
- We do not use Google user data for purposes unrelated to the core functionality of our service
- Human access to Google user data is limited to necessary service operations, security investigations, legal compliance, or with your explicit consent

You have the following rights regarding your data:
- Access: Request a copy of your personal data
- Correction: Update or correct your account information
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data

- Revocation: Disconnect Google Drive access at any time
- Opt-out: Disable Telegram notifications through settings
8. Children's Privacy
imeett.ai is not intended for use by children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
